About the SCUBA Squad

Meetings are held Wednesdays at 1pm in the fifth floor lobby of the Social and Behavioral Sciences building. Non-diving events will be held in SAC 311 on Thursdays at 7pm.

Squad History

October 2003 - The Squad is officially recognized by the State University of New York at Stony Brook as a club. This is the third known reincarnation/attempt of a SCUBA club at Stony Brook.

Spring 2005 - The Squad survives (amazingly) and earns Line Budget status. We're rich! And we can actually afford interesting dives and lectures! Huzzah!

Also Spring 2005 - The Squad offers its first Open Water course. Hope to see you there in 2006!

October 2005 - The Squad turns two. Birthday party to follow (free cake!).
